- Ann Ingett FORTESCUE was born about 1764. Anne's eldest son John Fortescue-Brickdale assumed the name Fortescue before his own in 1861; he was from Birchamp House, Newland, Gloucestershire, a magistrate and Deputy Lieutenant of Gloucestershire. He died in 1867 and was succeeded by his son, Mr Fortescue-Brickdale.
