    Joined Supplementary Reserve of Officers of Coldstream Guards, 1930. In the office of Price Waterhouse & Co. (Accountants) in the City of London, 1931. In the office of H. C. Sevan (Insurance Brokers) in the City of London 1934-39.

    Served with the Coldstream Guards during the Second World War. Served with 2nd Bn. Coldstream Guards in France 1939-40. Personal Assistant to Gen. Sir Charles Loyd, G.C.V.O., K.C.B., D.S.O., M.C., who was Chief of the General Staff, Home Forces 1941-42, and A.D.C. to General Lloyd when he became G.O.C. in C. Southern Command 1942-43. Adjutant to 6th Bn. from May 1943 until it was disbanded. Served with 5th Bn. in Guards Armoured Division in France, Belgium, Holland and Germany 1944-45. President Cold- streamers Association, Exeter Branch 1953-63.

    On Council of Devon Agricultural Society 1950-63; Vice-President of the Royal Bath & West Agricultural Society; A Trustee of St. Michael's Home, Cheddar, until it became a Cheshire Home; On Royal Devon & Exeter Hospital Management Committee from 1952 until it was disbanded. A member of the Committee of The Royal School for the Deaf in Exeter 1950-63.

    Antony married June Audrey Chichester on 5 Sep 1939 in St. Mary's, Stoke D'Abernon, Surrey. June (daughter of John Reginald Chichester and Audrey Geraldine Chapman) was born on 23 Jul 1918 in Newport Pagnell, Buckinghamshire; died in Dec 2006 in Fullerton, Hampshire.
