Fell Corpn. of SS Mary and Nicolas (Woodard Schools Midlands Division) from 1959; Chairman of the School Council of Worksop College and Ranby House School since 1962. A member of the Executive Committee of the Woodard Corporation since its formation in 1976. Governor of St. Edward's School, Oxford from 1948; Hon. Life member BRCS. A member of 'Nobody's Friends' since 1963.
