  Baptised at Elstree, Herts. Educated at Charterhouse School, Surrey, 1886-90, and New College, Oxford. Buried at Clifton Hampden. Memorial in churchyard there and in the chapel of Barrow Court, Somerset. Will dated 23 December 1903 and proved 21 December 1907. Sometime in the brewery partnership mentioned under George Harold Gibbs. Delicate health prevented later professional work. Portrait by G. Anderson (1898) last in possession of W. O. Gibbs.
