Buried in Westminster Abbey.

F.S.A., Hon. A.R.I.B.A.,Hon. Chaplain to the Royal Academy from 1925. Dean of the Order of the Bath from 1926. Chaplain to the Order of St. John of Jerusalem from 1921. A chaplain in the Territorial Army. An Ecclesiastical Commissioner.

    A member of Nobody's Friends from 1916 and of the Athenaeum Club, London.

    Dean of Westminster from 1925 until his death in 1937. An exceptionally talented artist he wrote widely on Church treasures whilst Dean of Westminster.
    A much respected cleric he died on 28 September 1937 and his ashes buried in the nave in Westminster Abbey.

    Also, was a Trustee of Speke Hall, Liverpool: later passing to the National Trust.
