    Commissioned 17/21st Lancers 1930. Major in Tunis Campaign 1942. Wounded; despatches. Served in Italy. Lt. Col. 1945, P.R.O. Army HQ Vienna. Brigadier and Chief P.R.O. War Office 1952, and until his death.

    He was appointed Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.)

    Nigel married Penelope Elton Cunard on 27 Aug 1934. Penelope (daughter of Cyril Grant Cunard and Beatrice Rhoda Gibbs) was born on 28 Jan 1909 in 95 Eaton Square, Westminster, London; died about 1995; was buried in 1995 in Clyffe Pypard, Wiltshire. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]
