1. Sir Charles Cokayne, 1st Viscount Cullen (son of William Cokayne and Mary Morris); died in 1661 in Rushton Hall, Rushton, Northamptonshire. Charles married Mary O\'Brien on 24 Jun 1627 in St. Giles-in-the-Fields, Holborn, London. Mary died in 1686 in Rushton Hall, Rushton, Northamptonshire. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]
Children:- Sir Brien Cokayne, 2nd Viscount Cullen was born in 1631; died in 1687 in Rushton Hall, Rushton, Northamptonshire.

The Cokayne association with Rushton in Northamptonshire arose when Sir William Cokayne bought Rushton Hall from the Tresham family in 1614. William's son Charles was made Viscount Cullen. The hall was sold to the Hope family in 1731: it originally contained a small church, which stood near the entrance, but this was demolished in the early 18th century and the glass incorporated into the Great Hall of the hall.
